This information is only intended for Ski & Ride School instructors.  All other hourly SRS staff should punch in and out via a physical time clock, or by using the time clock in EpicEmployee.  Please contact your manager or supervisor if you have any questions.

Follow these steps to complete your daily time card.  You MUST enter all time worked for Vail Resorts for the day.

Instructors punch on the ProConnect App

  • This is NOT the same as the wall mounted timeclocks that other departments use

Punch in and out each day

  • Punch in when the boots go on

  • Punch out when the boots come off

Punch out for personal time

  • Lunch

  • Free skiing

  • Morning coffee between booting up and lineup.

  • Clock out for the day when you take free runs at the end of your lessons.

Punching in and out is required

  • See your supervisor to report missed punches.

  • Employee Wi-Fi is available - ask your supervisor for the password.

  • Computers will be available in the locker rooms.

Attestation: Once you have punched out, you must read the attestation and check the Signature box prior to submitting.  Contact your supervisor if you have read this and still have questions.

  

Any specific questions about the Ski & Ride School payroll process, as well as questions about your paycheck should first be directed to your supervisor or manager.

Sample Day

  • 8:23 AM – Boots On  Punch In

  • 9:00: AM Lesson Starts

  • 12:00 PM Lesson Ends

  • 12:08 PM – Parents Pick up students  Punch Out

  • 12:55 PM Lineup  Punch In

  • 1:00 PM Lesson Starts

  • 4:00 PM Lesson Ends

  • 4:17 –  Day is Done!  Punch Out

When is the Day is Done... 

  • You remove your boots in the locker room at the end of the work day

  • You do not use the locker room and wrap up the lesson

  • You chose to take free runs after the lesson ends

When you are at line-up and get released - 

  • Clock out after you change out of your boots

  • Clock out before you are going free skiing

  • If you are asked to return, clock out then clock back in for the PM Lineup

  • If your next lineup is less than 3 hours, your supervisor will look for a work opportunity for you

Q: What if I realize I have made a mistake on a punch I already submitted?

A: Contact your manager or supervisor, and complete a new, corrected Smartsheet.

Q: What if I do not have access to a computer or smart device?

A: Contact your manager or supervisor who will direct you to a Company device to use to fill out the time sheet at the end of each shift.
