How do I log into Epic Employee as an inactive employee?

As an inactive for summer/alumni/former employee you are setting up a new profile.

If possible, using a different browser when accessing the site will help ensure that no previous user name nor password will populate.

If you have questions related to your login details or need a password reset, please see the last sentence for how to contact our IT Support Center.

Please visit the website alumni.vailresorts.com. The screen will be dark blue, and have Vail Resorts in white at the top of the page. It will ask you for a User ID and password.

Username: your Employee ID number (6-digit number)

Password: your password has been reset - look for an email from PeopleConnect with your default password information.

You will be prompted to create your own unique password the first time you log in. Your new password must meet the following requirements:

  • Starts with a letter

  • At least 8 characters or longer

  • At least 1 UPPPERCASE letter

  • At least 1 lowercase letter

  • At least 1 number character

  • At least 1 special character ! # $ % - _ = + < >

  • No part of your name

** If you are having trouble accessing the Alumni portal or downloading your documents:

  • Try going to alumni.vailresorts.com in a different browser than the one that you first tried

  • Try using a laptop or desktop, rather than a smartphone

  • Check that your pop-up blocker is off

  • You have cleared your cache/cookies (CTRL/SHIFT/DEL to open the Clear Cache on most browsers)

After trying the above, if you still need a password reset, please contact our IT Support Center

If you have questions related to your login details or password, please contact IT support center at 970-754-4357 (US) or 604-935-5500 (CAN). You can also write to them at ITsupportcenter@vailresorts.com.

change your address, see pay Statements and W2 forms

Your information is on Epic Employee, and it stays accessible, but you will need to log in as an Alumni- see above. Since our computers are set to remember our Epic Employee logins, the IT team shared some directions above on how best to do this. Once in the portal, you can view and download your W2, T4 and other tax documents, access paystubs and update your address and other information.

Final Pay Date

In Utah, the end of season pay will be paid a few days after you finish for the season, ahead of the regular pay day. Please check EpicEmployee.vailresorts.com for the pay stub information, including the date of your final check or deposit. We will send the final pay advice next week, as we are not able to send that before the pay period closes.

schedule and lesson pay questions

If you have a question about schedules and pay, please do as much research as you can and send us complete information. To see…

Schedule and Paid Activities use Instructor.snow.com. Your access to Instructor.snow.com is unchanged - you do need to use your ACTIVE PASS.  This is where all lesson pay is entered daily.

Actual pay statements are in EpicEmployee.vailresorts.com, You will need to log in using  the Alumni tile - information above.

RPOS Paid Activities are summarized on the Pay Advice email for that Pay Period. Check your personal inbox for pay advice emails from ProConnect - the pay advice explains the total Ski School pay amount. (It does not include Gratuities, Emergency Sick Leave, pay in other departments or any deductions like Taxes. These are itemized on the actual pay statement in EpicEmployee).
