Human Resources & Direct Connect
The Human Resources department is based at Vail Resorts headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado. You can reach HR through the EpicEmployee app or by phone at 303-404-1900.
Q: What is Direct Connect?
A: Direct Connect is the HR online portal where you can Learn More, Get Help, or Take Action anytime and from anywhere. Log in at EpicEmployee, choose Get Help or Take Action, and enter your employee ID and password. Self-service items like your paycheck and benefits enrollment live in the Take Action section.
Use Direct Connect for: Pay, benefits, employee discounts, and everyday HR questions.
Default login | Learn More & Get Help: Employee ID and P$wdmmddyy (mmddyy = your date of birth)
Default login | Take Action: Employee ID and your existing my.VailResorts.com password. New users start with P$wdmmddyy (mmddyy = date of birth). If you can't remember your password, use the 'Forgot Password' prompt.
A: People Connect is our dedicated HR team, available when you need real human help. The best way to reach them is to ask a question in Direct Connect, which opens a case you can track from start to finish. If you need to talk to someone right away, search 'Help' in Direct Connect for the direct line to a People Connect team member.
Hours:
Phone support: Monday-Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. MST
Direct Connect case support (no phones): Sundays, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. MST
Use People Connect for: Complicated questions that need a real person. Log in to Direct Connect, click your question category, and if you don't see your answer, complete a form to open a case.
Three ways to reach People Connect:
Online: Open a Service Case based on your specific question.
Email: Email PeopleConnect@VailResorts.com and a service case will automatically be created for you.
Phone: Monday-Saturday, 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. MST. Call 303-404-1900 (U.S.) or 604-938-7878 (Canada). Phone wait times can be long, so online is usually faster. Thanks for your patience as we work through this transition.
Spanish-speaking employees: Call People Connect, or mention in the Service Case comments that you speak Spanish, and you'll receive support in Spanish.
Q: What if I'm having trouble with passwords?
Call the IT Support Center at 970-754-4357 (U.S.) or 604-938-5500 (Canada).
Your Instructor.snow.com password is $noW2627 and cannot be changed.
Your EpicEmployee password is the same as Direct Connect. First-time users log in to Direct Connect with the default, then change it from there.
